Apple Festival - Camacha

The apple Festival is one of the most authentic autumn events in Madeira.

A cosy mountain village Camacha fills with the scent of fresh harvest and the sound of traditional folk music. This is the place to taste freshly picked, locally grown Madeira apples straight from the orchard — crisp, juicy, and genuinely delicious. Throughout the day you can try homemade products, explore small rural stalls, and experience the island’s farming traditions up close. As evening falls, the square transforms with live music and a warm, local atmosphere that feels more like a community gathering than a tourist event — simple, authentic, and full of flavour.
