Bom Jesus Festival in Ponta Delgada

Ponta Delgada marks its traditional Arraial em Honra do Senhor Bom Jesus with four days of celebrations blending religious devotion and community festivity. The programme runs from Thursday night through Sunday evening, combining novenas, a pilgrimage, a flag ceremony and a closing procession with live music and open-air discos each night.
