Epiphany Carols Concert in Funchal, Madeira

Epiphany carols sung live at a concert open to the public, bringing a traditional Madeiran custom to the stage. Cantar dos Reis is part of the Christmas season in Madeira, when the arrival of the Three Kings is celebrated with music.

Epiphany is also the time of the famous Bolo-Rei, a cake that hides a broad bean and a small gift inside. Whoever finds the bean buys the cake next year, and whoever finds the gift buys the drinks.
