Crossing the Island of Madeira 2026 - Hiking Challenge

The Crossing of the Island of Madeira returns in 2026 as one of the most emblematic challenges for mountaineering and adventure lovers, offering an unforgettable experience through the island's natural landscapes.

Organised by Clube Pés Livres Madeira, this crossing is known for covering some of the island's most challenging and stunning trails, crossing mountains, levadas and untouched natural areas. Along the route, participants explore Madeira's natural diversity, from mountainous areas to deep valleys, in a true test of physical endurance and teamwork.

The price is €200 per participant and includes daily transfers from Funchal to the start of each day's route and back, a get-together at the end of each day's hike, a get-together on the final day, and the event T-shirt.

Registration is done by submitting the registration form. After submitting, participants pay a €50 deposit to the account below, with the remaining €150 due before October 2, 2026.
