Icon Painting Workshop (Oficina de Iniciação à Pintura de Ícones) at Museu de Arte Sacra

Led by Andreia Jesus Cabral, this workshop held at the Museu de Arte Sacra do Funchal (MASF) aims to be a school of spirituality through the art of icon painting (or "writing"). Participants learn the traditional egg tempera technique with natural pigments and gold-leaf application on a wood panel, following the methods of the old icon painters.

Schedule: 10:00–17:30, with a lunch break.

The workshop fee includes all materials. Registration is required, capped at 10 participants, and the session runs subject to a minimum number of sign-ups. Aimed at adults.
