III SkySpeed do Pico do Facho – Freguesia de Machico
The III SkySpeed Pico do Facho – Freguesia de Machico brings Skyrunning back to Machico on 1 November. The race is part of the National SkySpeed Championship calendar and is open to athletes of different ages and levels.
The course covers around 960 metres with an elevation gain of approximately 330 metres, starting at the Porto de Recreio, next to the Ludens headquarters, and finishing at the top of Pico do Facho — with steps and technical trail sections along the way, ending at a viewpoint over Machico bay.
