Machico's palm-lined promenade turns into an open-air museum for a day, as vintage Volkswagen Beetles, classic Fiats and other pre-1980s cars line up along the bay with the mountains and Atlantic as backdrop.
The Machico Classic Car Fest brings together owners and fans of classic and pre-classic vehicles for a free outdoor exhibition in one of Madeira's most scenic coastal towns.
