The Madeira Classical Orchestra welcomes 2027 with its iconic New Year's Concert, following a tradition shared by major orchestras around the world, with a programme built around popular waltzes and polkas. Led by artistic director and violinist Norberto Gomes, the orchestra performs in full symphonic formation under guest conductor Luís Andrade, presenting the best of the Strauss family repertoire.
