Panelo Festival 2027 – Chão da Ribeira, Madeira

One of the oldest festivals in the area, this Madeira event is all about panelo, the signature stew of cabbage, pork and local sausages. Families cook it in huge pots over open fires, with plenty of music and a real community atmosphere.
