Seixal Summer Fest 2026 – 4th Off-Road Route (4ª Rota 4x4)

Join the 4th edition of the Rota 4x4, a leisure off-road tour through the trails of Porto Moniz council for owners of 4x4 vehicles and their families. Around 25 vehicles and 50 participants are expected to take part in this scenic drive across Madeira's countryside, rated low to medium difficulty and suitable for all types of 4x4 vehicles.

Programme:

Sunday, September 13, 2026:

09:00 – Meeting point at Praia do Seixal

09:30 – Departure for the tour~

14:00 – Lunch

16:00 – End of the tour

The route runs through Porto Moniz council, passing through areas including Santo Antão, Ribeira da Janela, Ponta do Fio, and Ribeiro Escuro before returning to Praia do Seixal.

Good to know:

• Bring warm clothing and any personal medication (e.g. for allergies)
• All vehicles are welcome, but make sure you have suitable tires, a tow strap, gloves, and boots
• A pruning saw, hoe, and shovel are recommended, along with a willingness to help fellow participants clear the trail if needed
