Summer Market 2026 Funchal | Madeira Handmade Fair

Skip the souvenir shops — this is where Madeira actually makes its gifts. For six days, the top floor of the island's most iconic market turns into a maze of local artisans and Madeiran brands: handmade ceramics still warm from the kiln, jewelry from ocean-worn stones, baby clothes stitched by hand, candles poured from recycled wax. Nothing here is mass-produced, and half the fun is watching the makers work.
