Volunteering for CASA - Collecting Food for the Homeless

Overview: Help collect and deliver leftover food from Porto Mare Hotel to CASA, where it will be used to provide meals for those in need.

Arrival and Parking (8:55PM):

Van Loading:

• Assist the team in loading empty food trays into CASA's van.
• Drive to Porto Mare Hotel together in the van
• The van driver will take the team to Porto Mare Hotel's garage.

Collecting Food:

• Once at the hotel, take the trays into the kitchen area.
• Hotel staff will provide the leftover food, which needs to be distributed into the trays.
• One person will handle returning dirty dishes to the designated washing area (staff will guide you).

Return to CASA:

• Once all trays are filled, load them back into the van.
• Drive back to CASA headquarters and store the food trays in the fridge.

Shift Done!

• The food will be served the next day for breakfast and lunch.
