Mostra Regional da Banana 2026

Madalena do Mar grows more bananas than anywhere else on the island — and once a year, the whole promenade turns that into a party.

Two days of showcooking, live bands, folk music, and a prize-giving for the best growers on the coast, all built around the harvest that put this town on the map.

The biggest bunches walk away with prizes — and you'll walk away knowing more about a banana than you ever expected to.
