Jazz em Festa 2026 — Festival de Jazz Câmara de Lobos, Madeira

Jazz em Festa takes over Câmara de Lobos this July, turning the town's iconic bay into an open-air stage for three days of live jazz. The festival mixes street parades with full concert nights by the water.

The programme opens with two roaming "Arruada" street parades by Banda Estrondilha — one in Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, one in the town's Baixa district — before the main event at the Baía de Câmara de Lobos on July 25.

That night starts with the Sexteto Melro Preto performing a set dedicated to Madeiran jazz composers, followed by the night's headline moment: the Orquestra de Jazz do Funchal, joined by drummer and vocalist João Ribeiro, performing a tribute to Frank Sinatra and Cole Porter.
