Mercadinho do Monte

The Monte Market takes place on Saturday, August 29, at Largo da Fonte in Monte, Funchal, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Largo da Fonte is a historic square in Monte, home to a 19th-century bandstand and the Fonte da Virgem fountain, just below the Nossa Senhora do Monte church.

Visitors can browse stalls from local vendors, producers and craftspeople, offering regional products from the Monte area.

The market is free to attend and open to all ages.
