Torneio de Pesca no Calhau

Anglers are invited to take part in a sport fishing tournament on the volcanic rocks of Calhau, in Seixal, held as part of the Seixal Summer Fest 2026 programme. The competition brings together fishing enthusiasts for a morning by the sea, combining sport, camaraderie and a shared passion for fishing against one of the parish's most striking coastal backdrops.
The tournament is limited to 20 participants, so early registration is recommended. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers, along with participation trophies for all competitors.
Programme:
- Registration deadline: September 4, 2026 (in person at Junta de Freguesia do Seixal)
- Tournament start: 1:00 PM, September 12
- Prizes: 1st place – €150 | 2nd place – €100 | 3rd place – €75
