TEDxMadeira 2026 — 1ª Edição

TEDxMadeira brings its first edition to the island on Saturday, 21 November 2026, at the Museu de Imprensa da Madeira in Câmara de Lobos (Av. da Autonomia 3, 9300-146 Câmara de Lobos).

This marks a new chapter for the project: after 14 editions held since 2017 under the name TEDxFunchal, the event has rebranded as TEDxMadeira to reach the whole island rather than just the capital. The format stays true to the TEDx spirit — live talks combining TEDTalk-style videos with local speakers to spark discussion and connection.

The 2026 lineup will feature 10 speakers exploring themes across Society, Entrepreneurship, Creativity, Science & Nature, Sustainability, Education & Community, and Art & Technology. Confirmed speakers so far include Nuno Morna, Anastasia Mazur, and Magna Rodrigues, with the full roster to be announced.
