Overview

At the end of each month, a small team of volunteers helps collect surplus food from Reid's Palace Hotel and deliver it to CASA Madeira.

The food is already packed and ready for collection. Volunteers simply help load the food into the CASA van before it is transported to the canteen.

The rescued food will then be used to prepare breakfast and lunch for people in need the following day.
