Vozes do Norte 2026

Festival Vozes do Norte is a singing competition organized by the Casa do Povo de São Vicente, running since 2002 — the 2026 edition is the 22nd. It's held as part of the annual São Vicente Festival. Registrations for contestants are open until 14 August 2026.

In recent years, the contest has been judged by a panel of local cultural officials, regional press representatives, and media figures, evaluating contestants on pitch, rhythm, vocal quality, diction, and stage presence. The evening traditionally opens with a performance by the previous year's winner, with past editions also featuring guest appearances by young talents from national TV singing competitions.
