XXXI Open Water Swimming Race "SAÇA — José da Silva"

Madeira's biggest open water swimming tradition returns to the Bay of Funchal. **The XXXI edition of the "SAÇA — José da Silva" **sea race brings together swimmers of all levels along a 1000-metre course between Cais da Cidade and Barreirinha, right in the heart of the city.

The race is open to three categories: federated swimmers, recreational (popular) participants, and adapted swimming, making it one of the most inclusive sporting events on the island. Whether you're a competitive athlete or simply love the sea, this is a chance to swim through one of Madeira's most scenic bays.
